April in Ohio
Hi, everyone! Yes, I know that I don't blog very often, but I know that anticipation is always half the fun, right? We're back in Ohio for at least three months, hopefully more. We're staying at Mom & Dad's and driving 50 minutes to work at a small hospital. The hospital is o.k., not the greatest. However, as I told Brian, "it's not the healthy that need a doctor" (Matt. 9:12) and it's not the best hospitals that need the most nurses. It serves the purpose of being within driving distance to family and friends and that's why we're here. We've already been able to go see one sister and her family and to "babysit" for another set of nephews/niece. We hope to stay in the area at least until the end of November, take off the first two weeks of December, then head to Florida for good. We'll see . . .
It sure is pretty here this time of year with all of those flowering trees. Joy really loves to lay out in the grass. Harley actually doesn't mind walking on the grass here. He hates grass in Florida and goes out of his way to avoid stepping in it, to the point of pooping on the sidewalk (we're trying to break him of this habit). Brian took me to Hocking Hills where we spent my birthday in a cabin - so nice!!
